Went camping at Beverly Beach this weekend with friends. Great people, great weather, good times and some fish observing. Heres to frozen ankles, wood chopping, short shorts, soggy tents, tire burners, hot rocks, tag, death log and ye olde salty socks...

Terrarium expert.

Thanks to the all knowing Madame Ranunculus I have been schooled the basic know how of terrarium building. She held a class last week at the awesome new work space on making terrariums which was greatly helpful and made me realize why mine have died in the past. There has been talk of more classes like this as well as classes on flower arranging, wall hangings and possibly a gorilla gardening how to.

the basic recipe for my mason jar terrarium:
polished rock
dried moss
a hearty soil
succulent
pumice
some sort of live moss for decoration
a decorative branch that may or may not root
